Welcome to the latest issue of Tube & Pipe Technology
magazine, which includes features on OCTG & Pipeline
manufacturing and Tube Mills & Roll Forming Machinery –
two particularly important and interesting areas of the industry.
Naturally, our best wishes go to the people of Japan, particularly
those working in the many tube-related industries located close
to the areas that have been worst hit by the horrific earthquakes.
Clearly it will take many years of repairs to help rebuild the
infrastructure and industry in the country and to come to terms
with the consequences of the radiation leaks and the many lost
lives. I am sure that if any country can cope and rebuild after a
disaster like this then it is Japan – in fact I hear that after a short
break many orders are already being completed.
