New York University is the
largest private university in
the United States that was
founded in 1831. NYU is divided
into a number of schools and
colleges, the largest of which
is the College of Arts and
Sciences. It’s setting is urban.
New York University’s primary
campus is located in the lively
Greenwich Village neighborhood
of Manhattan. NYU is a true
city school, with no borders
separating a distinct campus
from the streets of
the Big Apple.

referred to by locals as simply
“the Village”, is a neighborhood
on the west side of Lower
Manhattan, NYC. Greenwich
Village has been known as an
artists’ haven and the Bohemian
capital. Greenwich Village
includes several collegiate
institutions such as NYU, Parson
The New School for Design
and Pratt Institute. There’s no
shortage of fun things to do
in the Village. Aside from the
many famous coffee shops in
