New York City’s Theater District
is an area in Midtown Manhattan
where most Broadway theaters
are located, as well as many
other theaters, movie theaters,
restaurants, hotels, and other
places of entertainment.
It extends fromWest
40th Street to West 54th Street,
fromwest of Sixth Avenue to
east of Eighth Avenue,
and includes Times Square.
The Great White Way is the
name given to the section of
Broadway which runs through
the Theater District.
It also contains recording
studios, record label offices,
theatrical agencies, Music Row,
ABC Television Studios and
Madame Tussauds New York.

Hell’s Kitchen, also known as
Clinton and Midtown West,
is a neighborhood of Manhattan
in New York City located
between 34th Street in the
south, 59th Street in the north,
Eighth Avenue in the east,
and the Hudson River to the
west. Many visitors happen
on to Hell’s Kitchen pre or
post theater, because the
neighborhood is immediately
adjacent to Broadway.
