Information can be found at every underground, urban railway station (S-Bahn), tram and bus

stops. In the entrance area and on the platform the following is provided on the "BVG Service"

information panel:

A diagram network for the underground and urban railway (S-Bahn) with a station directory

A list of all stations with details of the fare zones

A map of the area around the underground station

Special information:

Information such as "current timetable changes" is displayed on the "BVG Service" information

panel. Special display cases at the entrance of the underground stations contain additional

information on short-term and temporary changes.

Public transportation runs from approximately 4.00 a.m. to 0.30 a.m. on weekdays and is extended

on weekends, some of the services even run all night.

German Rail

The railway system (DB-Deutsche Bahn) in Germany connects the major cities by Intercity Express

(ICE) and Intercity (IC) trains. Regional trains operate in the smaller cities and towns. A number of

different types of train tickets are available.

Taxi

Taxis can be ordered by phone or hired at taxi ranks. Waiting time will also be charged. In case a

taxi is needed early in the morning it is advisable to order it the evening before.
