Social Life

To become acquainted with life in Berlin as soon as possible, it is essential to take advantage of

social and cultural opportunities. The city is in the process of establishing an expatriate community,

offering orientation programs, welcome networks and lots of possibilities to socialise. To get first

impressions of the city it is helpful to attend sightseeing or walking tours through Berlin.

The

"Discover Berlin" tour

on foot in English starts daily from the taxi stand at the Zoo Station

(call 030-301 9194 for up-to-date start times). The tour guide can be identified by the Original

Berlin Walks badge. Tickets can be purchased from the guide 15 minutes before the tour starts or

in advance from the EurAide office inside Zoo Station.
