World of Maserati 68
Qual i ty i s al l ; nothing i s taken for granted.
When it comes to quality and reliability, Maserati’s engineers leave nothing to chance. That is why
a vast fleet of prototypes Levante took part in 2.7 million kilometres of testing as part of the car’s exhaustive
development programme — from the intense heat of South Africa and Morocco to the extreme cold of Sweden and New
Zealand, plus thousands of hours of high-speed and endurance trials in the USA and Russia. All along the production line,
the car and its components are subjected to no fewer than 700 intensive checks and inspections; then, before it leaves the
factory, there is a 50-kilometre road test and a thorough 30-minute examination by the strictest quality control staff.
