That, subject to all other existing Rules and
Regulations heretofore made under said Act,
respecting the Preliminary and other Examin
ations to be held pursuant to the provisions
thereof, it shall and may be lawful for the Court
of Examiners, for the time being, of the Incor
porated Law Society of Ireland to allow any
Candidate for Preliminary Examination, prior
to Apprenticeship, to have the option of being
