Look Up
Stability and dependency, thank you for giving
it to me. Something important to me. No clouds
will make me doubt the presence. The disappear-
ance will not erase my faith of tomorrow. I know
you’ll come back. Being bright, to be my light,
such light giving birth to hope.
I don’t need wings to grow from the depths of my
spine to fly. With a red balloon in my chest, once
popped the pieces still there. A part of me, mak-
ing my bones vibrate. Giving me a separate peace,
no other person having done what I can do. To
touch change.
Changing every day, new color, new shape, new
canvas, new time as paint mixes together. Chang-
ing time to time and I am still held stable.
Greatest way to fight monotony, when I fly, am
free, bigger than the world, separate from the
world, endless possibilities, embracing change,
inside of me, yet knowing,
I won’t fall
crashing and burning like a falling star to be
crushed to ash.
Don’t tell me you don’t understand or do, I don’t
have to care. Whether it rains, thunders, strikes
with lightning
you don’t have to understand.
Simply look up.
