MR. DANIEL SULLIVAN, Solicitor, died upon
the 17th January, 1930.

tings, 1892, and practised under the style of
Michael Larkin & Co. at 51 Dame Street,
Dublin.
MR. JOSEPH TIERNEY, Solicitor, died upon
the 23rd January, 1930, at his residence, 46
Wellington Road, Dublin.
Mr. Tierney was admitted in Hilary Sit
tings, 1890, and practised at 2 St. Andrew
Street, Dublin.
MR. DANIEL DUNFORD, Solicitor, died upon
the 27th January, 1930, at his residence,
Catherine Street, Waterford.
Mr. Dunford was admitted in Trinity Sit
tings, 1883, and practised at Waterford, in
partnership with Mr. Peter O'Connor up to
1922, when he retired.
COURTS OF JUSTICE ACTS.
The Joint Committee of the Oireachtas
appointed to consider and
report what
amendments, if an}', are required in
the
Courts of Justice Act, 1924, and the Acts
amending the same, and any other statutes
affecting the civil jurisdiction of the Courts
of Saorstat Eireann, began its sittings in the
month of December.
The Committee consists of the following
members:—

CIRCUIT COURT RULES.
The Circuit Court Rules Committee have
for a considerable time past been engaged in
the preparation of Rules of the Circuit Court,
and this work having been completed, the
Rules as prepared by the Committee were
signed by the Committee on the 8th Feb
ruary. The next step towards bringing these
Rules into operation is that they should be
laid before each House of the Oireachtas,
and that they be approved by resolutions of
each such House.
