October Beacon - page 15

Larry Gierlowski’ s mother, Marianne,
passed away the middle of September. She
had a good, long life passing at age 92.
The Gierlowski’s have had a tough year,
losing Larry’s brother suddenly and very
recently. I have heard it said that “God will
not give you more than you can handle”
Please remember the family in your
prayers.
Well, this is the time of the year to ready
both the clubhouse, our boats and our
minds for the Winter. As I am writing this, it is the first day of Fall and
the outside temperature has dropped considerably. Checking the
Farmer’s Almanac, the prediction is that we are in for a cold Winter.
Hug someone close to you and ponder the words here. !!!
SOME THOUGHTS TO LIVE BY;
Life is too short to wake up with regrets,
So love the people who treat you right.
Forget about those who don’t.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a chance, take it.
Nobody said that life would be easy;
They just promised it would most likely be worth it,
So live, love, laugh and thank God for your blessings
Make it a Great Day…
After all, it’s yours to lose.
God Bless
