PORT WINE SANGAREE
One teaspoonful sugar dissolved in 1 teaspoonful of water.
One teaspoonful of vanilla syrup.
One lump of ice.
One wine glass of port wine.
Stir with spoon; grate nutmeg on top and serve.
SHERRY WINE SANGAREE
One teaspoonful of sugar dissolved in a little water.
One teaspoonful of vanilla syrup.
One lump of ice.
One wine glass of sherry wine.
Stir with spoon; grate nutmeg on top and serve.

Shakes
BRANDY SHAKE
One wine glass cognac brandy, one tablespoonful sugar, juice of 2
lemons, fill glass with cracked ice.
Shake well; strain into tall fancy glass and serve.
GIN SHAKE
Three-fourths full of shaved ice.
One teaspoonful of fine sugar.
One wine glass of gin.
Shake well; strain into small fancy glass and serve.
MILK AND SELTZER
Use a medium sized shell glass.
Fill one-half full of cold milk and one-half of seltzer water.
MILK SHAKE
Two lumps of cracked ice.
One teaspoonful of fine sugar.
One-half teaspoonful of syrup of any kind preferred. FUl up
with milk; shake well and serve.
