Please note: APHA will not be providing shuttle service
between official APHA hotels and the Convention Center.
All hotels are within walking distance.
Accessibility Services
CCC, Lobby A
In an effort to make the Annual Meeting and Expo
accessible to the widest range of people possible, an
accessibility desk will be staffed on site in the registration area
at the CCC to manage any requests or questions pertaining
to issues of access. Questions and comments can be emailed
to
access@apha.org.
Accessibility Transportation
Wheelchair Accessible van transportation can be scheduled
upon request between official APHA hotels and the CCC for
attendees with disabilities.
Visit or call the ADA Van Desk or the APHA Accessibility booth both
located in Lobby A to make arrangements in advance. Please provide
the shuttle company with advance notice as to when and where you
will need a pick up. Registrants with mobility issues who are unable
to utilize the on call accessible transportation option, may utilize
cab service to and from official APHA hotels and the CCC. APHA will
reimburse taxi fares between official APHA Annual Meeting properties.
Submit all receipts to APHA (c/o Conventions Dept., 800 I Street, NW,
Washington, DC 20001) no later than November 30, 2016.
Activity Posting Center
CCC, Atrium
The Activity Posting Center is where registrants are invited to post flyers
or advertise meetings and special events. Flyers and handouts may
not be posted on any hotel or convention center walls as APHA will
be fined and will be responsible for clean-up costs. For crowd control,
safety and consideration of all attendees, it is requested that no flyers or
handouts be distributed directly outside of meeting rooms or exhibit halls.
CE Evaluation Center
CCC, Lobby A
Computers are available in Lobby A of the CCC during registration hours
to complete CE evaluations for CME, CNE, CPH, CHES and MCHES
credits. Evaluations can be completed in the mobile app and also
following the meeting.
Access will be available until December 16, 2016. A link will be available
