litrev8 delivers 450 hp at 7,000 rpm, and 510 Nm of torque at 4750 rpm, together with com-
paratively modest fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. The camshafts on the intake side
are fitted with CvvT (Continuouslyvariablevalve Timing), and the single timing chain makes
the engine exceptionally reliable and quiet. DlC (Diamond-like Coating) and ‘superfinishing’
of the camshaft lobes mean very low friction levels, which in turn means improved efficiency
overall.
