Radiation therapies are underused

Currently primary radiotherapy is being

underutilized; less than 2% of skin cancer patients in

the USA and 1-8% in Europe

When multidisciplinary teams include radiation

oncologists in addition to dermatologists in the

treatment of non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC)

patients, radiotherapy is recommended in

approximately 20% of cases
