Sustainability Charter
2017-2021 FINANCIAL PLAN
The dashboard is an important tool in the implementation of the Sustainability Charter, Surrey’s
comprehensive 50-year vision for a sustainable city. Each theme has an overarching GOAL
followed by desired outcomes. DESIRED OUTCOMES outline what we want to see in our
community, looking ahead to the year 2058. STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS are priority focus areas,
that outline how the City and its many partners will advance towards those desired outcomes.
INDICATORS are also presented under each theme and will be used to monitor progress, as we
strive for continuous improvement.
