FINANCIAL COMMENTS

The proposed budgets (general fund and all funds) include legal costs for the day-to-day operation of all City opera-

tions and for anticipated special counsel costs incurred in ongoing and anticipated litigation. (See Outside Legal Ser-

vices on the next page) Should unanticipated litigation or extraordinary events requiring specialized legal services

arise, the City Attorney will present to the City Council estimated extraordinary legal costs that may require an amend-

ment to the approved budget.
