Building Maintenance - Old City Hall/Others [740-5150]
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Building Maintenance is responsible for custodial and maintenance of the Old City Hall Building, which is now the new
Council Chambers, as well as the grounds surrounding the Morgan Hill Library.

Keep City facilities clean and well maintained
FINANCIAL COMMENTS
The Building Maintenance Fund is an Internal Service Fund that recovers the cost of maintaining City facilities by charg-
ing the departments that use those facilities. An additional fee is charged for the scheduled future replacement of
major building equipment, such as mechanical systems. FY 15-16 recommended budget includes a .25 FTE Custodian
position to maintain the Council Chambers as it has become a utilized space by the organization and also the commu-
nity.
