Building Maintenance – City Hall/Development Services

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Building Maintenance is responsible for custodial service and maintenance of City Hall/ Development Services Center
(DSC).
FY 15-16 ACTIVITY GOALS
Half-time Custodian will continue to provide service for City Hall/DSC and the new Council Chambers
Setup building for generator power with existing generator
FINANCIAL COMMENTS
The Building Maintenance Fund is an Internal Service Fund that recovers the cost of maintaining City facilities by charg-
ing the departments that use those facilities. An additional fee is charged for the scheduled future replacement of
major building equipment, such as mechanical systems. FY 15-16 recommended budget includes an additional .25 FTE
custodian to provide service for the Council Chambers, since it has been expanded and is now utilized by the commu-
nity and the organization.
