record. Al–
though hit heavY

the power deportment by
the graduation of Sean Boron. Dave Rois. and
Mari<
Trafton. the Toreros move In the
'89
sea–
son
on a noteof optimism. There Is every reason
to believe this team can reach, and, perhaps,
surpass last yea's win total
Much of the optimism is placed squarely In the
laps of two returnng players - senior Chuck
Graham
and
junior
Parris
Sorlanello.
Graham led
USO 1n batting average
In
'88,
hitting an even
400. Sorlanello is expected to provide much of
the
"long
bal"
threat In
'89.
