In November 2008, Madem Reels USA
Inc, located in Chattanooga TN,
successfully completed one year since
the first machines arrived in the US for
commissioning.
Chattanooga Mayor, Ron Littlefield,
Hamilton County Mayor, Claude
Ramsey and other authorities and busi-
ness partners celebrated with Madem
with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The Madem plant in Chattanooga has
70 employees in 145,000ft2 of covered
area and services eight customers.
Second shift production began in
October 2008.

During 2008, Esteves Group invested
heavily in its China factory to
increase its level of service and
expand the product range. Esteves
(Shanghai) is now able to provide
diamond dies from 10 microns in
diameter.
The Esteves factory in China is
dedicated to its Asian customers.
The Esteves Group has enhanced
the customer technical support area
by adding new engineers; part of the
service oriented philosophy of the
company. With more than a hundred
years of experience, the Esteves
Group produces a comprehensive
range of products for the wire
industry: diamond dies for drawing,
stranding, compacting, shaving and
tube calibrating, tungsten carbide
(round and shaped) special tooling
including extrusion tools and die
reconditioning equipment.
