population of breeding seabirds. A tour of Kilkenny Castle is one of
your options in Waterford, and you’ll discover Dublin before heading
to the Isle of Man for a visit to Castle Rushen.
DAYS 7-12 RATHIN ISLAND, IRELAND, TO ABERDEEN,
SCOTLAND
Explore Rathin’s huge bird colony and the Giant’s
Causeway. Heading to Scotland, land on St. Kilda to learn about
the human history of the Isles of Skye and Rum. Visit a wealth of
prehistoric archaeological sites in the Orkney Islands, and end your
journey in Aberdeen. Depart on Day 12 via Leith.

of Man, with its magnificent Castle Rushen, the subtropical gardens of the

DAYS 1-6 ORKNEY AND SHETLAND ISLANDS
Embarking in
Leith, cruise to the Orkney Islands, with their remarkable prehistoric
archaeological sites, and on to the Shetlands, where you’ll discover
prolific birdlife and rare Arctic-alpine plants, along with islands that
have been inhabited for more than 5,000 years.
DAYS 7-13 OUTER HEBRIDES / IRELAND AND WALES
Explore the Callanish Standing Stones, dating from 3000 BC, and
the Giant’s Causeway near Derry. On the Isle of Man, view the ruins
of settlements from the Mesolithic Age, then visit botanical gardens
in north Wales, Ireland, and the Isles of Scilly. Explore the tiny isle of
Herm, then depart on Day 13
via Portsmouth.
