DAYS 1-8 PORT LOUIS, MAURITIUS / LA POSSESSION,

RÉUNION / TOAMASINA, MADAGASCAR

From Port Louis,

cruise to remote Réunion to visit the central highlands and volcano

“La Fournaise.” In Madagascar, visit Masoala, Nosy Mangabe, and

Maroansetra as you spend your days exploring forests filled with

rare, endemic species and pristine shores with unspoiled golden

beaches.

DAYS 9-15 ALDABRA, SEYCHELLES / ST. JOSEPH ATOLL /

ARIDE AND CURIEUSE ISLANDS / MAHÉ

In the Seychelles,

discover the enchantments of Aldabra, a haven of wildlife including

giant tortoises, before heading to St. Joseph Atoll, whose lagoon is

home to a massive population of stingrays. Aride and Curieuse are

a birdwatcher’s paradise. Depart on Day 15 via Mahé.

paradise. Snorkel or dive to discover a colorful underwater world,

indigenous fauna and flora as you hike in centuries-old rainforests.

DAYS 1-5 ST. ANNE TO

VALLÉE DE MAI

Embark

and sail to St. Anne for

an ocean swim, then visit

Curieuse Island, home to giant

land tortoises. On Cousin

Island, visit a bird sanctuary

where over 250,000 birds

breed, then sail to Anse Lazio

on Praslin Island to savor one

of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Hike on Aride Island to

look for Wright’s gardenia, found nowhere else on earth, and bird

species including Audubon’s shearwater and the Seychelles warbler.

Sail to St. Pierre Island for snorkeling and swimming, then to Baie

St. Anne, Praslin, to visit the Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve, a World

Heritage Site. With luck, you may see rare black parrots here.

DAYS 6-8 LA DIGUE TO MAHÉ

Explore La Digue, a quaint

community where ox-drawn carts and bicycles outnumber cars, and

swim off the pink sand beach at Anse Source d’ Argent. Enjoy a tour

and beach barbecue on privately owned Moyenne Island, a nature

reserve, and visit Mahé’s Victoria Port. Disembark on Day 8.
