model provides RF power handling
up to 2W, and unpackaged die
form enables users to integrate the
attenuator directly into hybrids where
small size and light weight are critical.
The die contains through-wafer
Cu metallization vias to realize low
thermal resistance and very wideband
operation. YAT attenuator dice are
available from stock with nominal
attenuation values from 0 to 10dB (in
1dB steps), and 12, 15, 20, and 30dB.

Revolutionary Reflectionless
Filter Provides Passband
Coverage from 18.3 to 30GHz
Mini-Circuits’ new XHF2-1832+
reflectionless high pass filter has
a passband from 18.3 to 30GHz
with a 3dB frequency cutoff at
17.5GHz, supporting a wide range
of applications including WiMAX,
military, space and more. It provides
1.3dB passband insertion loss, 1.7:1
passband VSWR, 14.0dB stopband
rejection, 1.7:1 stopband VSWR, and
0.32W RF input power handling in the
passband (0.09W in the stopband). It
comes housed in a tiny 2x2mm QFN
package, allowing designers to use it
almost anywhere on their PCB.
Reflectionless filters employ a novel
filter topology which absorbs and
terminates stopband signals internally
rather than reflecting them back to the
source. This new capability enables
unique applications for filter circuits
beyond those suited to traditional
approaches. Traditional filters are
reflective in the stopband, sending
signals back to the source at 100%
power. These reflections interact
with neighboring components and
often result in intermodulation and
other interferences. Reflectionless
filters eliminate stopband reflections,
allowing them to be paired with
sensitive devices and used in
applications that otherwise require
circuits such as isolation amplifiers or
attenuators.

Mini-Circuits’ SYPS-2-52HP+
is a high-power, surface-mount
2-Way 0° splitter/combiner with a
frequency range from 10 to 540MHz,
supporting applications from VHF/
UHF to military mobile and more.
This model handles up to 15W RF
input power as a splitter and provides
0.5dB insertion loss, 0.1dB amplitude
unbalance, 1.0° phase unbalance and
20 dB isolation. The splitter comes
housed in a miniature plastic case
(0.43x0.69x0.42”) with wraparound
terminations for excellent solderability.

Mini-Circuits’ 75Ω Diplexers
for DOCSIS® Compliant
Systems and Equipment
Mini-Circuits’ DPLB-8510A01+ 75Ω
diplexer covers the DC to 1220 MHz
band with a low pass band of DC to
85MHz and a high pass band of 102 to
1220MHz. This new model is specially
designed to meet requirements for
DOCSIS 3.1 compliant systems and
equipment. It provides low pass
band insertion loss of 1.4dB, 50dB
rejection in the stop band and 18dB
typical return loss. Mini-Circuits has
developed a variety of diplexer models
in the DPLB series for cable TV
systems with different channel splits to
accommodate different upstream and
downstream bandwidth requirements.
The diplexer comes mounted on open
style printed laminate measuring
1.18x1.18x0.28”.
