fresh
Fish.
In
order
to
keep
fresh
fish,
draw
the
fish
and
re-
move
the
gills
;
then
insert
a
piece
of
charcoal
in
their
mouths,
and
2 or
3
pieces
in
their
bellies.

they
are
to
be
conveyed
any
distance,
wrap
each
fish
separately
in
paper
and
place
them
in
a box.
Fish
thus
preserved
will
keep
fresh
several
