be presenting its range of cable
marking equipment and optical fibre
coding systems.
The company has long been manu-
facturing cable marking machines
and optical fibre processing lines. As
the only company operating in this
market segment, Medek & Schörner
covers virtually the entire spectrum of
machines for marking cables and
coding optical fibres; in particular for
power, telecom, data cables: each
optical fibre coating line is equipped
with Medek & Schörner designed
M550 high performance SOFT-curing
UV irradiators.
The modular system allows the easy
and quick adaptation of the coating
system for various applications or
upgrade at moderate cost as the
need arises, eg for ring marking, higher
UV curing performance, tight
buffering, screen proof test, fibre
ribbon production etc. The capacity of
any system can be significantly
increased quickly and easily by
exchanging individual components.

if a system has been in operation for
