• Rain Forests
The Hoh Rain Forest in the heart of the Olympic National
Park is home to Sitka spruce and Western hemlock up to
300 feet tall, while moss-laden fallen logs create “nurse
logs” for young saplings. The Quinault Rain Forest, a bit
farther south, is equally impressive, and both have interpre-
tive trails. Be sure to bring a jacket with a hood! Hoh Rain

Twenty-five years ago, the founding
members of the Evergreen COHO SKP
Park also recognized this area’s special
features when they created a co-op park
in Chimacum, Washington. Some mem-
bers already lived in Washington, and
many of them were frequent travelers
to this Northwest state, escaping the hot
and humid Southern parks in the sum-
mer for our breathable and temperate
marine climate.
So chart your course for a destination
trip to the country’s northwest corner,
and plan to visit Evergreen COHO SKP
Park. My husband, Dennis, and I look
forward to greeting you and providing
you with any additional information
you need to make this area the perfect
destination spot for your RV trip.
