CONCLUSIONS
6.1
FSA
Following this FSA, all actions have now been completed, the SIS has been fully tested and
is now within the operational phase of the SIS lifecycle. The PFD of the installed system
complies to the requirements of a SIL 2 system and management procedures have been
developed to control the SIS throughout the late lifecycle phases. It is necessary for the system
owner to ensure that the SIS provides the calculated level of protection by monitoring,
recording and analysisng all activities associated with the SIS, including activations, spurious
activations, maintenance activities, proof testing also to ensure that any proposed further
modifications are reviewed prior to the modification commencing.
6.2
System Enhancements
There are no intended system enhancements planned or needed for the SIS at this moment in
time.
