New warehouse
complete for
DK Jones
DK Jones Ltd has announced that a new warehouse
extension on its northeast England site has now been
completed.
The 5,000m
2
extension, which increases the total covered
warehouse space to 15,000m
2
, allows both an increased
range of stock and additional machining capacity.
In addition to an increase in the stock range of high quality
standard and special items in alloy, low temperature
and carbon steels, an increased range of stainless steel
items will be stocked, including outlet fittings (Olets), high
pressure forged fittings, nipples, solid bar and a range of
seamless stainless steel pipe.
Several new machines are being installed for the
company’s in-house machining facilities. These include
three new CNC machines and two machines specially
designed for the profiling of Olets. This major new
investment in stock and equipment will enable the rapid
machining of special Olets and high pressure forged
fittings from an increased stock of high quality semi
finished forgings, bar and pipe, ensuring quick delivery
for many standard and special items.
In addition to supplying original manufacturers’ certificates
with every item, positive material identification (PMI) is
available on all relevant materials before despatch.
