ISCO receives ISO certification
ISCO Industries, a Louisville,
Kentucky-based pipe supplier and
custom manufacturer of high-density
polyethylene piping products, has
received ISO 9001:2008 certification for
its quality management system. The
certificate of registration was issued by
FM Approvals, LLC, an organisation that
independently audited and confirmed
that ISCO Industries is in conformity
with ISO 9001:2008. ISO 9001:2008
applies to the management processes
that influence product or service
quality. The scope of the certificate of
registration from FM Approvals states:
“The sourcing, delivery, manufacturing
and equipment rental of piping solutions
primarily for high density polyethylene
(HDPE) and related products for the
infrastructure, landfill, mining and
aggregate, industrial, oil and gas
gathering, geothermal, culvert lining,
power generation, municipal gas and
many other markets (exclusions 7.3
design and development planning).”

warehouse
Philip Cornes has been successfully
supplying heat and corrosion resistant
stainless steels and nickel alloys in a
wide range of product forms for over 50
years. The company continually invests
in its range of inventory and processing
for the future needs of its customers.
Since its acquisition in 1998 by the
privately held TW Metals group,
customers’ inventory needs have been
serviced from the TW group’s 126,000ft

European headquarters in Southampton,
UK, while the Philip Cornes sales office
remained in Redditch, UK.
Philip Cornes has developed and
expanded rapidly over the years, and
is now relocating its inventory and
processing to a dedicated 50,000ft
2
facility in Longbridge.
