Unhesitatingly
To pat and hold the dangerous snake
Or the angry lion,
Sri Ganesh, you don
The string of obscure lies
That have now surrendered,
And in that event
Is the release
Of immense tenderness,
A Smile
Completing the Truth
That was eternal…

Sri Ganesh, you seem to show
Today
The power of a deep truth =
That, in order to unite
With the richness
Of Her Gifts
One must first
Have experienced
The rising away from name and form
Into the Absolute
And thus mastered
All fear and all
Attachment –
In this way you teach also
That liberation is but
A step –
Then only can one learn
To serve the Shakti
Truly and freely...
