The Immanent who grows in men
And the Lord
Who
Embraces,
Who but you?
In those ways, Sri Ganesh,
You appear as the Trustee
Of the One Love
Glowing
Within all that is…

You appear
As the great Purohit King,
The Son of Shiva and Parvati,
The Son of Uma and the Lord,
The Ancient offspring
And Origin,
Issuing again and again
From the Two who are One,
As you are
Advancing in all
Readiness
Towards the site
Of
The Yajna –
You are wearing your robes
Of pearl and flame,
Holding the staff
Of Bhagavan’s Force
And invested with
Shakti –
Unhurried and concentrated,
Yet alert and aware,
You advance
To attend to
