That form Her Song
Of Creation,
And you amble out wearing
Her bursts of delight –
The Chief of the Tribes
And the gentle, kind
Sorcerer,
Always wrapped
In Her concealed Light,
Your footfalls awaking
The tenderest blossoms…
Sri Ganesh,
You obey to no rules
And follow but one law,
That of Her
Founded,
All-inclusive
Inexhaustible Harmony...

Flowing white and darting red,
The Shakti’s Son, the white and the red,
The Spirit’s Force is white,
Love’s Flame is red,
The white essence speaks to the heart
In Red –
Sri Ganesh,
Yours is a tender crimson joy
And today you seem to wear
Her white sari
Bordered in red…
