Cross Keys Bank is proud to
announce our partnership with
The Cinderella Project of Monroe.
This non-profit organization is in
its fourth year, and provides local
juniorandseniorgirlspromdresses,
while building self-esteem, self-
confidence and the
importance of giving
back to others. The
Cinderella Project of
Monroe collects prom
dresses
throughout
the month of January
for its dress giveaway
in the Spring. Last
year, all Cross Keys
Bank branches served
as drop off points for
dresses, as well as had
numerous employees
volunteer
for
the
Dress Giveaway. “In
past years, we had
girls come to our
dress giveaway from
basically the Monroe/
West Monroe area,”
said Ashley Yeldell,
Director
of
The
Cinderella Project of
Monroe. “Because of
our partnership with
Cross Keys Bank in
2013, we were able to reach girls in
12 parishes in Northeast Louisiana
and from 24 different high schools,
which is double the number we had
the previous year. This would not
have been possible without Cross
Keys Bank!”
If you are interested in donating a
dress, The Cinderella Project asks
that dresses be age appropriate and
suitable for a high school student,
clean and in good condition.
Donations can be dropped off
at any of the Cross Keys Bank
branches,
Raising
Cane’s
on
Louisville Ave., Raising Cane’s in
West Monroe, Raising Cane’s in
Ruston, Herringstone’s Boutique,
Bayou Gypsy, Salt & Pepper, K-Sera,
Rain the Salon, Rodeo Boutique of
Ruston and any of the three D&D
Cleaners locations.After thedresses
arecollected,TheCinderellaProject
will host a Dress Giveaway on
March 8, 2014 open to area junior
and senior high
school girls. Each
girl is assigned a
personal shopper, a
Cinderella Project
volunteer, to help
pick out a dress
and try dresses
on.
