Our Employees: Giving Thanks By Giving Back
Canned Food Drive To Benefit The Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana
The Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana
was the recipient of the Cross Keys
Bank first annual ‘Give Thanks and
Give Back’ Canned Food Drive. The
contribution came just in time for the
Thanksgiving holiday season for needy
families in the region. The food drive
took place at all 7 locations of Cross
Keys Bank, and was held during
the month of November. Bank
employees
made
generous
contributions which resulted in our
being able to collect and donate
516 lbs. of canned and dry goods to
the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana.
“Whether we want to believe it or
not, so many of our neighbors are
struggling to put food on their tables,”
said Alissa S. Russell, Assistant Vice
President of Marketing and Sales. “By
assisting the Food Bank of Northeast
Louisiana collect much-needed food
items, we’re reaching out to fight
hunger in the communities we serve.”
The Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana

for growers, processors, distributors
and retailers of food products to

instead to feed the hungry. The Food
Bank distributes over 3,000,000
pounds of food annually through
approximately 74 charitable agencies
