Market Demand

Main Driver Explanation

European gas demand, e.g. due to necessity of changeover from low-calorific to high-calorific gas.

Benefit Description

This project would be required for compression and further transport of additional gas from Russia via Nord Stream pipelines to Germany. In combination

with other infrastructure projects (e.g. Extension Receiving Terminal Greifswald) the project is required to cover the growing German demand for high-

calorific gas, caused among others by necessity of changeover from low-calorific gas to high-calorific gas.
