302 - Park Maintenance
Fund Description
Park Maintenance/Development Fund receives revenues from developers of properties and the funds may only be
used for the maintenance and development of the City's parks.
How this Fund Generates Money for Capital Investment
Funds received from developers through the RDCS process are deposited in the Park Maintenance Fund to pay for
maintenance activity in parks or to improve or reduce maintenance activity. Transfers to the General Fund are
periodically made to support park maintenance activities. Capital expenditures can be made at park facilities to
address or minimize future maintenance efforts.
Limitations and Other Important Factors
Park Maintenance Funds are to be spent only on the maintenance activities in City parks. Expenditures made for
capital improvements will deplete resources allocated in the future for ongoing operations and maintenance.
Goals for Capital Investment
There are no capital improvement projects identified in the current 6-Year CIP.
Expenditures - Other includes salaries and benefits, supplies, and internal services.
