Mr. Richardson was admitted in Trinity

Sittings, 1888, and practised at Belfast up to

1918, when he retired.

MR. JAMES BOYLE, Solicitor, died on the

22nd December,

1936, at his

residence,

Stranorlar, County Donegal.

Mr. Boyle was admitted in Trinity Sittings,

1887, and practised at Stranorlar.

MR. WILLIAM H. ARGUE, Solicitor, died on

the 27th December, 1936, at Ennis.

Mr. Argue served his apprenticeship with

-the late Mr. Thomas H. Williams, Sligo ; was

admitted

in Trinity Sittings,

1916, and

practised as a member of the firm of Argue

.& Phibbs, at Sligo.

SPECIAL EXAMINER.

The Council

invites applications

from

Solicitors for the office of Special Examiner

to this Society, in room of Mr. J. Malvern

White, Solicitor, resigned.

The

duties

of

the

office

consist

of

examining at the Intermediate and Final

Examinations for apprentices to Solicitors, in

conjunction with another Special Examiner.

Further particulars can be obtained from

the Secretary.

Applications for the appointment should

reach the Secretary before the sixth day of

February, 1937.

APPOINTMENTS.

Mr. William H. Fyffe, Solicitor, has been

appointed Crown Solicitor for the County of

Tyrone, in room of Mr. John F. A. Simms,

resigned.

Mr. J. Malvern White has been appointed

Solicitor to the Provincial Bank of Ireland.

COURTS OF JUSTICE ACT, 1936.

Probate Practice.

The attention of members is drawn to the

provisions of Section 84 of this Act. Forms

heretofore in use for the purpose of obtaining

grants of administration will after the 26th

January, 1937, be no longer applicable.

The new forms to be used are as follows :

Oath for Administrator.

Oath for Administrator with the Will.

Administration (Intestate) Bond.

Administration with Will annexed Bond.

Administration Intestate (pro rata) Bond

Affidavit of Market Value.
