For pupils in Year 6
This popular annual event introduces pupils to stimulating new
subjects and topics. In school teams, they will learn to speak and
write some Arabic, find out why coral reef systems are in crisis,
investigate what it means to be political, and take part in a drama
workshop exploring the characters and relationships in
Romeo
and Juliet.
Roger Sutcliffe, from Philosophy for Children, a highly-
regarded discussion-based approach to teaching and learning, will
lead the afternoon session. A cup is awarded to the winning team.
