for his fourth season with the Toreros
along with many returning starters from
last season.
The leader of the returnees is the team
captain
Rick
Schultz who was the top
scorer at the Hyatt Bear Creek Invitational '
and New Mexico State Coca Cola Classic in
1988-89. Other returning players include
Creighton Aotani,
an all-West Coast
Conference selection and top scorer in four
tournaments including the WCC Cham–
pionships.

taglia, Troy Hoch, Phil Isbell,
Doug Jacot, Andrew Smith,

Steve Zweber.
Although often overshadowed by
sports like football and basketball, the
USD golf team adds to the pride of the
school. Although there are no final stats
or figures for the team, they did prom–
ise to make a name for USO among the
other schools within the league.
