Inform patient
of procedure,
line wheelchair
up with steps
Place the
wheelchair in the
tilt position;
second operator
should grab
frame of chair
Gently roll
chair down
each step one
at a time.
Second
operator
should support
weight, not lift
chair.
When last step is
decensded,
gently lower the
front wheels to
the ground.
