Marmon/Keystone completes construction
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held
at Marmon/Keystone’s new metals
service centre in McConnellsburg,
Pennsylvania, USA, which officially
opened for business in November.
The 40,000ft
2
facility took 4½ months
to construct, and is approximately 25
per cent larger than the former building,
which is located within the same
business park. The facility features four
5-ton, dual-hoist overhead cranes and
five high-speed band saws, which are
used to supply tubing and chrome bar
to the heavy equipment manufacturing
industry.
“We are very pleased to be able to
make this investment and increase
our capacity in McConnellsburg,”
commented value added manager Tim
Wamba, who oversees the operation. “It
represents our commitment to support
local manufacturing.”
