(SLV) for fructan in Infant Formula and Adult Nutritionals.

Dear AOAC Expert Review Panel,

We are pleased to send you a copy of the R&D report with the subject:

SPIFAN FOS-01 Single Lab Validation for fructan in Infant Formula and Adult Nutritionals. The

AOAC 997.08 method was applied for this testing as this method is one of the 2 AOAC approved

methods for fructan determination. This method is also in the list of Codex approved methods.

This study was carried out by the working group Analytics in Tienen (BE) belonging to the Central

department Research, Development and Services (CRDS) of the Südzucker group.
