Linda and I hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year celebrating
with family and friends. As we face the winter weather in January, we can think that we only
have about 17 weeks before we get the boats wet again.
Speaking of getting the boats wet again, Transportation Director Darryl Campbell, is hard at
work refurbishing the engine on Fin Runner # 1 making sure we will have our work boat
ready for opening the Club in April.
As your Vice Commodore, I look forward to working with our incoming Commodore Pat and
Rear Commodore Ian as well as our new Board members, as we steer the ship toward
another successful year at NCYC.
