A One Day Seminar on the
European Convention on
Human Rights
Saturday, 30 October, 1993.
The Council of Europe sponsored Seminar
is aimed at legal professionals and students
of law and related disciplines. It will deal
with substantive Convention law, practice
and procedure for practitioners and there
will also be talks on the Irish cases (both
Northern and Southern) that have reached
Strasbourg. Most of the talks will be given
by leading experts from the Council of
Europe itself. There will be a nominal
participation fee of £8 (which includes
documentation, morning and afternoon
coffee). A special seminar luncheon will
also be available for £15.00. The seminar
will take place in the Aula Maxima, UCG.
