Although elected to Council for the
first time this year,
Ward McEllin
has
considerable experience as a Council
member having served as provincial
delegate for Connaught since 1984.
He was Chairman of Registrar's
Committee from 1987 to 1989 and
since then has served as Chairman of
the Compensation Fund Committee.
Among his objectives this year is to
promote the Practice Advisory Service
to the profession and to further
policies which will secure greater
compliance with the Solicitors
Accounts Regulations.
