Conclusions

In simple cases, with small movement the
IGRT strategy will counter the effects on
the dose distribution.
•
In other cases, the PTV concept might not
suffice in maintaining target coverage.
•
Effects depend on interplay between the
frequencies and amplitudes of the different
processes
•
Gating/tracking is a possible countermove.
