Most organs have several radiation complications.

Lung: radiation pneumonitis, fibrosis, functional measures

Brainstem: necrosis, neuropathy, radiological changes

Complications may have different degrees of severity; as an example lung

toxicity can be graded from 1 cough to 5 death.

The dosimetric predictors and NTCP parameter sets can vary according to

the grade of toxicity which the clinical data refer to.
