Model accuracy
• When model parameters have been fitted to a dataset
it is important to assess the accuracy of the model.
• The area under the receiver operating characteristic
(ROC) curve indicates how well ‘responders’ are
separated from ‘non-responders’ by the model.
– 0.5-0.7: poor, 0.7-0.9: moderate, 0.9-1: excellent
