HAVERGAL COLLEGE
Old Girls
Legacy Prayers
Friday, September 30
The 2016 Celebration Weekend began on the Friday
morning with a special Old Girls Legacy Prayers in the
Junior School. Current Grade 6 students shared stories
and memories of their mother’s Havergal experiences.
Celebration Saturday
Morning of Saturday, October 1
The next morning, Old Girls and their families returned to
campus for Celebration Saturday, which is a wonderful annual
event that reaches out to help our broader community in
the spirit of the “Bazaar.” Proceeds from the event support
Havergal’s community partnerships. In support of Celebration
Saturday, the Havergal Old Girls Association (HOGA) and the
Class Rep/Reunion Committee once again organized the HOGA
Beer Tent. The tent marked a fun meeting space for everyone
to reconnect over a coffee, beer, cider or wine. Many Old Girls
volunteered their time to help make the tent a huge success.
Hundreds of Old Girls returned to Havergal on Celebration Weekend to reconnect with former classmates
and the Havergal community. This year, we welcomed back our graduating classes ending with ’1 and ’6
to celebrate milestone reunions from the fifth to the 70th. Next year, classes ending with ’2 and ’7 will
celebrate reunions. Look out for more details in the spring and summer of 2017!
