Elgin Fastener Group has appointed Michael A Wilson

to the position of chief operating officer.

Wilson brings over 20 years of experience in various

aspects of manufacturing and management to EFG.

He holds a BS/Mechanical Engineering Technology

(Design) degree and MBA/Finance-General

Management degree from the University of Cincinnati,

as well as membership of the American Society for

Quality with Certified Manager of Quality status.

EFG CEO Jeff Liter said: “We welcome Mike Wilson to

the Elgin Fastener Group, and eagerly anticipate his

contributions to our manufacturing and engineering

efforts. His knowledge of Lean Manufacturing

and Continuous Improvement methodology will

be extremely beneficial to us as we continue to

implement theseprograms inour variousmanufacturing

operations.”

Elgin Fastener Group is comprised of seven specialist

fastener manufacturers (Ohio Rod Products, Leland

Powell Fasteners, Chandler Products, Quality Bolt and

Screw, Silo Fasteners, Landreth Fastener and Northern

Wire); a metal finishing company (Best Metal Finishing);

and an international sourcing and engineering division

(Elgin Fasteners International).
